Tony Award-Nominated Director

Marcia Milgrom Dodge

Marcia Milgrom Dodge is a Tony Award-nominated Director and Choreographer, and the first woman to direct a major musical produced by the Kennedy Center. Her critically acclaimed 2009 Kennedy Center and Broadway revival of the musical Ragtime garnered 7 Tony nominations (including Marcia’s!) and 4 Helen Hayes Awards.  Marcia also directed and/or choreographed these Off-Broadway productions: Seussical the Musical, Radio Gals, Romance in Hard Times, and Closer Than Ever. Marcia enjoys connecting with students to share advice from her 40 years in “the biz,” engage in group workshops, and coach aspiring performers.  Don’t forget to ask her about the time she was able to give both Billy Porter and Billy Crudup their very first Equity show!
