Terms & Conditions

What to expect from your Broadway Plus booking:

To have fun! We do our absolute best to make this easy and relaxed for you. Before the experience, we send your fan our carefully constructed rules and policies, which outline what’s appropriate for them to ask you during the experience. We ask them to come prepared with questions and/or material to work on during their time with you. You do not need to do any prep work - you just show up to share your expertise & professional experience!

Please do…
  • Situate yourself with good internet, sound and lighting. Please use a computer if possible, and not a smartphone.
  • Click on the Zoom link 5 minutes before start time.
  • Come ready to share fun stories about your career and helpful advice, in case the person you’re meeting is shy. Don’t be afraid to talk a lot about yourself - that’s what they’re looking for!
  • When the end time has been reached, excuse yourself by saying something like, “Thank you so much for your time, it looks like it’s time I get ready for my next engagement, but I hope to connect with you again someday!”
  • If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please hang up on Zoom and call us immediately, we will handle it from there and you will still be paid. This hasn’t yet happened (across thousands of experiences fulfilled), but it’s important for us to say, nonetheless!

Please do not…
  • Chew gum or drink an alcoholic beverage during the experience
  • Share your personal contact information in any way. Please ask that the fan keep any future correspondence or requests (future booking, fan art, thank you note, etc.) coming through Broadway Plus - they can email us at concierge@broadwayplus.com and we will reach out to you on their behalf (after vetting the request).

We have a strict rule that you never ask someone you connected with through Broadway Plus to book another experience with you through your own personal website or any platform other than Broadway Plus. This is a violation of our trust, and it is disrespectful of the fact that we spend our hard-earned budget actively marketing you, in order to find us both new clients. We carefully monitor this, and any artist found to be in violation of this policy will immediately be removed from our platform.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ARTIST VIRTUAL EXPERIENCES

These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") set forth the expectations and responsibilities for performing artists ("Artist") providing virtual experiences ("Sessions") via Broadway Plus ("Company"). By participating, the Artist agrees to the following terms:

1. Session Guidelines

  • Sessions must be conducted only through the Company’s designated platform (Zoom, or other platform specified in writing by Company communications).
  • The Artist must be punctual and conduct the full duration of the scheduled Session.
  • The Artist may not request to move the conversation to an external platform or attempt to contact the Client outside the Company’s system.
  • If a Client engages in inappropriate behavior, the Artist should immediately report the incident to the Company and refrain from engaging in the behavior.

If the Artist encounters technical issues that interfere with the Session, they must promptly notify the Company for resolution.

2. Appropriate Conduct

  • The Artist must maintain a professional, friendly, and respectful demeanor at all times.
  • The Artist must not share any personal information about themselves, or ask for, collect, or store any personal information from the customer ("Client"), including but not limited to full name, address, phone number, email, or social media accounts.
  • The Artist must not pressure, coerce, or encourage the Client to say or do anything they are uncomfortable with or that may be deemed inappropriate.
  • The Artist must not engage in any behavior that is discriminatory, offensive, sexually suggestive, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • The Artist must ensure that all language and topics discussed remain age-appropriate, particularly as many Clients will be minors.
  • The Artist must not engage in or encourage any conduct that violates laws or regulations.
  • The Artist is not expected to answer any personal (non-professional) questions. Keep all conversations focused on professional topics.

3. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • The Artist may not record, screenshot, or otherwise capture any portion of a Session without prior written consent from the Company and, if applicable, the Client’s legal guardian.
  • All content, materials, and discussions within the Sessions remain confidential and may not be shared, distributed, or disclosed without Company approval.

4. Compensation & Payment

  • Payment terms, rates, and disbursement schedules will be agreed upon separately between the Artist and the Company, and must not be discussed with any customer.
  • The Artist understands that their payment is contingent upon fulfilling their obligations under these terms and delivering Sessions as scheduled.
  • The Artist is responsible for any applicable taxes related to payments received.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • The Artist can reschedule a virtual booking up to 24 hours prior by logging onto the company website and using the reschedule feature.
  • In case of last-minute cancellations, the Artist may be required to reschedule or forfeit payment at the discretion of the Company.
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule Sessions at any time, with reasonable notice provided to the Artist.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Any original content or materials created by the Artist for use in Sessions remain the property of the Artist unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • The Artist grants the Company a limited license to use their name, likeness, and promotional materials for marketing purposes related to the virtual experiences.

7. Termination

  • The Company reserves the right to terminate an Artist’s participation if they violate any terms outlined in this Agreement.
  • The Artist may also choose to end their engagement with the Company, provided they give reasonable notice and complete any scheduled obligations.

8. Liability & Indemnification

  • The Artist acknowledges that they are an independent contractor and not an employee of the Company.
  • The Artist agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their conduct during Sessions.

9. Amendments

  • The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The Artist will be notified of any significant changes and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

By participating in the virtual experiences offered by Broadway Plus, the Artist agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the Artist’s participation and forfeiture of any pending compensation.
