Anthony Murphy, a versatile musical collaborator based in New York City, centers his artistry around music and joy. Anthony studied Directing & Choreography at Otterbein University. Anthony most recently closed the Broadway Revival of “The Wiz” playing Lord High Underling and understudying The Wiz & The Lion. Anthony was previously seen on Broadway as Paul Burrell in “Diana the Musical” (OBC) and Off- Broadway as Victor Garber in the hit musical “Titanique!” In 2017 Anthony originated the role of the Genie in the U.S. National Tour of “Disney’s Aladdin the Musical”. Later he moved to the Australian company of “Aladdin” where he stayed til its closing in 2019. With his soulful voice and vibrant performance style, he has mesmerised audiences worldwide.
