For the past decade, Monica has called NYC home, where she has built a career grounded in new musical theater since graduating from Ball State University. Being part of the creation of new work has been especially meaningful, including her time on Broadway in Suffs the Musical and Real Women Have Curves. Her love of storytelling has led her to television, with appearances on Elementary, Uncoupled, Madam Secretary, and Evil. In addition to performing, she has spent time as a fit model for brands like Uniqlo and Target, an experience that continues to inform her understanding of collaboration and creativity in different spaces. Now touring with Suffs as Inez Milholland, Monica feels most fulfilled telling stories that connect on a human level, build empathy, and invite reflection.
