Actor, Singer, Leading Man — Sean Seamus Thompson currently plays Piangi and covers the Phantom in the hit musical MASQUERADE, the immersive revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, in New York City. Previously on Broadway, Sean played Joe Gillis opposite Glenn Close, Artie Green, and ensemble characters in the 2017 revival of SUNSET BOULEVARD. Shortly after, he originated the role of Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny in the American cast of LOVE NEVER DIES. Sean enjoyed a recurring co-star on AMC’s “The Walking Dead: Dead City” and has performed on a variety of televised concert presentations. Other major productions include the First National Tour of FUNNY GIRL (Nick Arnstein, Ziegfeld, and Renaldi) & the Paper Mill Playhouse production of CHASING RAINBOWS (Clark Gable).
