Hudson Theatre

The Hudson Theatre is one of Broadway's oldest surviving theatres, having opened on October 19, 1903. Designed by the architectural firm J.B. McElfatrick & Son, with later interior contributions by Israels & Harder, the theatre features a Beaux-Arts facade and an elegant interior adorned with Tiffany glass and ornate detailing. Throughout its history, the Hudson Theatre has served various purposes, including stints as a television studio, a rock-and-roll venue, and an event space. After extensive restorations, it reopened as a Broadway theatre in February 2017, once again hosting acclaimed productions and contributing to its enduring legacy in New York City's vibrant theatre scene.
